Overview

A team is, very simply, a group of individuals working towards a common purpose. A high achieving team reflects the cohesion and synchronicity in thinking and doing.

It is no coincidence that highly motivated and positive teams are also high achieving teams who have fun working together, building together as opposed to teams that are struggling with morale.

This training workshop, presented by Glass Rock Solutions, is designed to deliver the foundations of enabling team members to each take responsibility for their role in creating a positive team environment/culture in the workplace, contributing to team cohesion and synchronicity.

The focus is on empowering individuals to deliver within a team environment through ‘team thinking’ by understanding their role and taking responsibility for the contribution they make within the team.

Target Audience

This course is designed for individuals to increase team effectiveness by equipping them with practical strategies to assert a positive influence within any team. Glass Rock is able to customise this training specifically for your team.

Key Skills Gained

  • Understand the elements of a ‘safe, collaborative and enjoyable environment’ and ‘You’
  • Understand the structure of trust; how to build trust and how we break trust
  • Understand demoralisation, pessimism and insecurity as below the belt strategies vs. the contrast and the impact on the team
  • Be able to replace below the belt strategies with above the belt strategies
  • Understand victimhood and taking responsibility
  • Understand self-sabotaging, its impact and ramification
  • Understand the delivery of empathy as a strategy to build positive relationships
  • Be able to provide constructive feedback as opposed to constructive criticism.
