Read Your Stakeholders in Minutes

Team on meeting in modern bright office

Duration 1-2 day(s) workshop

Overview

In this course, delivered by Glass Rock Solutions, you will learn to influence with ease and enjoy the process by learning to read your stakeholders in minutes even when you do not know them and prior to them saying anything at all.

Stakeholders form a critical part of every project and are chosen for the unique skills and experience they bring to every project. However, failure to manage these stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders can result in a project that fails to meet its objectives and deadlines, and then goes over time and over budget.

This course is about learning how to create harmonious, robust working relationships with stakeholders, garnering their engagement, managing stakeholder input and expectations, communicating effectively and efficiently utilising stakeholder talents and experience. It is also a program where you will learn to influence, even when you do not have positional authority.

Collaborating productively with stakeholders is a skill that can be learnt and will result in a significant positive impact on project management in a number of ways: timely reporting, regular attendance at meeting, seamless flow of two-way communication, capturing useful information and feedback, adhering to budgets and meeting deadlines.

This course also covers topics such as understanding the different types of stakeholders, planning stakeholder involvement, measuring stakeholder influence and performance and working with difficult stakeholders.

This program is designed for project managers, service desk team, change managers, managers and leaders across all levels of an organisation. It is also relevant to teams in general where stakeholder management directly impacts outputs and outcomes.
