Public Speaking Training

Confident male leader speaking at diverse team meeting

Duration 1 day

Overview

Most people are terrified by the idea of public speaking, whether it is making a formal presentation to colleagues or peers, or giving a toast at a friend’s celebration.

But it is possible to overcome nervousness and become confident at speaking in public, in front of a small or big audience.

This highly interactive course helps people learn how to ground and centre themselves with ease in readiness to speak, feel calm, to prepare in minutes for public speaking, or to speak eloquently and impressively even when there is no time to prepare. It also teaches skills such as how to read your audience, using icebreakers and humour and how to best interact with audience questions or interruptions.

This is a fun, highly interactive course which gives participants a chance to use what they are learning throughout the day in real presentations in front of others in the group.

    GLASS ROCK CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

“Just wanted to thank you again for an interesting day yesterday.  I wasn’t looking forward to it as I assumed it would be the usual dry and dusty approach of legal jargon, documentation and dotting the i’s, and crossing the t’s.  Instead it was something different and more aligned with what vendor management can be (and covering areas Boral ICT are seriously challenged with at the moment).”
