Communication Skills Training

Business People Meeting

Duration 1 day workshop

Overview

We have allowed email to become our primary communication tool in business, yet recent research suggests that over 90% of email communication is misunderstood.

This course will show why communication breaks down and how to develop the skills to communicate with definitive language and clarity – with both the spoken word and also in written communication.

When you learn the art of communicating effectively, you can put into practice a powerful set of techniques to improve communication skills in all areas of your life.

Participants of this course will learn strategies for overcoming common communication barriers, as well as other essential skills such as active listening, the powerful influence of non-verbal communication cues, effective use of tone and voice, how to use appropriate humour and how to ask open-ended questions to gather information and guide decisions.

Those who have completed this course say that it not only helped them to better understand others, it enabled them to communicate with more clarity and impact, and also increased their self-confidence.
