Overview
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner Training builds on the learnings from the MSP® Foundation course, giving students more knowledge about how to apply the principles to real organisational scenarios.
MSP offers a consistent approach to program management, irrespective of the size of the organisation, the industry or country of operation.
It provides a framework for executives, senior management and those leading major programs of work to better direct the change process whilst ensuring that the focus is maintained upon business objectives and resulting benefits.
Through effective project prioritisation and integration, MSP encourages more efficient use of organisational resources in the various change initiatives. MSP provides for better identification and management of business, program and ultimately organisational change risk in situations including: Mergers, Business Integrations, Multi-Disciplinary IT Integrations, Business Remodelling, Restructuring, Re-Engineering and Outsourcing.

Exam
The course assessment is a 2.5 hour objective testing exam, held on the morning of day two.
It is an open book exam – MSP Reference Book only. It consists of eight scenario-based questions, worth 10 marks each, for a total of 80 marks. Participants must achieve a 50% pass to attain Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner Certification.
Students will be expected to spend some time outside of course hours reviewing material in order to be well prepared for the exam.
