Overview
Facilitation skills can be used in many different areas of ‘people management’ and these skills can be learnt, resulting in team cohesiveness, employee engagement and higher levels of productivity. Good facilitation skills are a must for any leader or team member who needs to lead people through discussions or processes towards agreed upon objectives with neutrality, and in such a way that encourages enthusiastic participation and accountability by all those involved.
This course has been designed by Glass Rock Solutions to teach participants practical skills, techniques and tools for situations including articulating the shared vision or goal and soliciting buy-in. It also covers steering and supporting people collectively through the process, planning and managing group sessions effectively in order to achieve desired outcomes, ensuring all members can participate equally, providing constructive feedback and promoting fairness, as well as working through the unique challenges of facilitating in a virtual environment.
