Overview

Mindfulness is the mental practice of slowing down one’s mind to the point where the mental chatter quietens, where the parasympathetic nervous system is activated and where one feels calm, not only in the mind but through the body.

Research published by the American Psychological Association has shown extensive benefits are to be experienced from the practice of mindfulness, including, but not limited to:

In Glass Rock Solutions immersive ‘Practice of Mindfulness for Team Building’ Workshop, participants will experience proven, best practice strategies and processes to:

  • Explore their source of joy or pain to understand the potential emotional gain or loss each pose to their being
  • Understand the value that is the power of their left brain and the value that is the power of their right brain
  • Understand the cycle of their thoughts, feelings and their neurology
  • Learn the ‘Resting Position’ to clear their mind and for fast stress release
  • Learn to activate their right brain to relieve stress, reset their neurology and move forward to clarity
  • Learn their first practice of activating flow
  • Understand the core needs that are most relevant when operating in and through a constant wave of crisis
  • How cause and effect play out during a crisis
  • Understand if they are living in auto-mode and how this translates to actual creativity
  • Understand the chaos rendered by perception vs reality
  • Learn the difference between creating in chaos vs creating in flow
  • Learn their second practice of activating flow
  • Understand the power and importance of imagination
  • Understand the importance of the rest and digest state and its importance to sustain and remain in peak states of creativity
  • Understand the relationship between autonomic nervous system and their creativity
  • Learn the simple energy technique to help reduce anxiety and stress and for pain relief
  • Learn how to energise with clarity and ease
  • Learn their third practice of activating flow.
