Change Management Foundation

Business woman speaking in front of many people

Duration: 3 days

Overview

Businesses, both large and small, are facing change at a faster pace than ever before. The key to successfully navigating change is having team leaders who understand how to implement change, and team members who are able to adapt and manage change.

Change can occur for various reasons: team restructuring, when a business decides to provide additional products and services, digital transformation, mergers and more. Even moving premises, or working remotely creates change.

The Change Management Foundation qualification course, delivered by Glass Rock Solutions, is designed to provide a foundation of knowledge for anyone involved in any kind of significant organisational change initiatives. Upon completion of this combined qualification, students will have the knowledge and understanding necessary to contribute constructively to teams specifying, developing, implementing and sustaining change initiatives.

There are no recommended prerequisites for this course.

There is an extension course, Change Management Practitioner, which is also recommended after the completion of the Change Management Foundation Course.
We offer the courses as a bundle – find out more here.

Key Topics

  • Change and the Individual
  • Change and the Organisation
  • Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Change Management Practice

The qualification is based upon the Change Management Institute’s (CMI) Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) “The Effective Change Manager”. The book provided as part of courseware is “The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook”. The course is delivered online, over three days.

Exam and Certification

At the end of this course, students must undertake a 40 minute, 50 question, multiple choice question exam. This is a closed book exam and a 50% pass is required to attain the Change Management Foundation certification, so it is recommended that students do spend time reviewing material outside of course time, to consolidate their learning and in preparation for the exam.
